This is Lux Bellator, formerly Subject Bellator-LXIV, and my latest Warrior of Light. He’s not in-game yet–I plan on making him a retainer for when I make his black mask Ascian rival as the actual character I play once Dawntrail drops and Hrothgals are Real–but he’s gripped my brain real hard so have a sketch.
The microscopic design note is just pointing out that he has a divot in his forehead where a Garlean third eye didn’t finish developing. It’s hidden by the immense floof of his hair. Other note that isn’t completely obvious: the neck scar is a surgical scar and is very much related to why he physically can’t speak.

The winners of the hairstyle contest have been announced, so here’s my one entry i managed to get in since my sub expired before I could finish any of the others. None of the other entries hits all the notes I wanted for this (all the ones close in length are too straight, all the ones with the right texture and body are too short), so I’m a little sad that Momoka is going to be denied his actual hair…
My goal for this was to give male viera a really nice floofy ponytail with good curl, since that’s something we are terribly lacking in despite the ladies having some nice options, and all else was secondary. I do not give a FUCK about clipping, if i did i wouldn’t keep Shayun on the hair he has, give me big long hair!!! ;_ ;

I initially made it too large and didn’t realize until partway through shading, which was really painful to fix. I’m not totally sure how I feel about the Esteem frame, but at that scale and with the silhouette limitations i’m not sure i could have done better?

i started this months ago and only now decided to finish it. i could be convinced to clean it up but i would need to be paid for that tbh. i had plans to make a full series of limbco-style ego images, but that is very much in limbo now even if Punishing Bird (Tataru) is very funny to me.
The Abnormality in the back is The Snow Queen from Lobotomy Corp, besides the obvious visual and thematic reasons I gave Zenos her EGO she also challenges a random employee to a duel, and the result of that duel determines the fate of other employees.
Zenos’s outfit could probably use a couple more passes for added complexity but i was drawing primarily from one of his early StB armor designs and there most of the elaborate bits come from metal armor… not sure how to do that but preserve at least some of the EGO’s LobCorp look and also keep the similarity to the source Abnormality.
